An Awesome Camera Bag

Thanks to Canadian Scrapbooker's Magazine and Connie Nichol, for sharing a website for custom made camera bags.  It is just what I have been looking for as it would be nice to have a camera bag that looks like a regular purse, but doesn't look too touristy.   It is designed by an award winning photographer and fits a DSLR camera and two lenses.  One pouch is big enough to fit my 70-200 mm lens so that's a bonus!  Here is one of them:

In Love With Banners

Banners are really hot right now and that got me thinking that I wanted to make a banner for Easter.

  I bought the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Banners yesterday and ran them through my Cuttlebug.  I used   the "Delovely" collection by  Cosmo Cricket.  The colors in this collection somewhat scream Spring and Easter to me.  They were lots of fun to make and I think I'm going to make one that says "Easter" now to put under it.  Thanks for popping by and have a great, scrappy, happy day!

Pancakes For Breakfast

Sundays we always have pancakes or waffles for breakfast.

Blueberry Whole Wheat Pancakes

Today it was Blueberry Whole Wheat Pancakes as we try to keep it healthy.  With all the recent studies of real maple syrup and how it is a nutritional powerhouse, I have been using it as my primary sweetener for pancakes, oatmeal and even in lattes and popsicles.  It has been said to have over 90 antioxidants.

So enjoy your maple syrup.  I sure am!

Flower Made From Dryer Sheets

I wanted to try a new technique I saw on Gabrielle Pollacco's blog.  It is super easy and fun to do.  What a way to recycle too!  I made an orange one and a blue one and will be embellishing some layouts with these soon.

Macros

One thing that is fun and inexpensive is macro photography.  I love it!  It can be lots of fun taking photos of flowers, bugs and just about anything close up.  Flowers are my favorite and although it is quite a challenge, it is fun.  Here are some photos I took today of flowers in my house.
