All You Need Is Love

Hello followers! I hope you are having a good Sunday.  Today is Super Bowl Sunday and although I'm not much of a football fan, I love watching the halftime show.

Today I would like to share my first layout that I created with the February Main Kit at My Creative Scrapbook.

My parents will be married 58 years in July and I definitely wanted to document and scrap this milestone.

I went with a grid design for this layout. Easy peasy.  I love doing grid design layouts.  It's like little mini canvasses on each square of paper.  For this layout I added stickers, clips, die cuts, a bow,  a flower,  a wood veneer arrow and the wood veneer  "Love", which I colored with Gelatos.

Thanks for stopping by.  The February Main Kit can be purchased at www.mycreativescrapbook.com.

My Creative Scrapbook February Kits Reveal!

Hello friends! It is the 5th day of the month and that means that it is the monthly kits reveal at My Creative Scrapbook.

For February, I created with the February Main Kit which consists of flowers from Prima Marketing, wood embellishments from Crate Paper's new Hello Love collection, patterned papers, stickers, ephemera pack and paper clips from We R Memory Keepers Crush Collection.  There are also some red and white ribbon thrown in.  I loved this kit and created 7 layouts with it.  I will be sharing a layout from this kit every few days or so throughout the month.

There are also three other kits for February.  I love that there are kits for every taste and style.  There is the February Creative Kit, LE Kit and the Album Kit.  Here are some closeups of those kits.

February Kit Sneak Peeks At My Creative Scrapbook

Hello friends! Happy Tuesday!  Today is sneak peek day at My Creative Scrapbook sharing the February kits.

For this month, I designed 7 layouts with the Main Kit.  I was very inspired with this lovely kit and was pleasantly surprised how much product was included in this kit.
February 2016 Main Kit

Here is one of my layouts with the February Main Kit of my daughter and son-in-law.  For this layout, I wanted to create a gold and black layout so I used lots of gold stickers.  For the wood veneer embellishments, I added some black embossing powder and heat set them with a heat gun.

Next is the February Creative Kit.  Such bright fun colors!

The February LE Kit is perfect for the shabby chic lovers.

and finally the February Album Kit to create a Valentine's Day themed mini album.

What do you think?  Which one is your favorite?

The full design team reveal is February 5 so be sure and reserve your kits now at www.mycreativescrapbook.com.

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapping Our Stash January 2016 Blog Hop

Hello friends! So glad you could join me and some of my scrappy friends for the monthly Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop.  Below is a list and links to all the ladies participating in the hop. Be sure and visit everyone on the list.  Some will be offering giveaways.  Happy hopping!
For this blog hop we are using our stash of scrapbooking products that came out before the last CHA (Craft And Hobby Association Trade Show).  I thought I would use some of my Bella Blvd. stash of papers (Lucky Starz Collection) and several Bella Blvd. embellishments as well as some flair buttons from A Flair For Buttons.

My son Clayton was two years old when we adopted our cat Asia.  She was also two years old and had been in a no kill shelter.
The poor kitty had been in a cage for 5 months and our family chose her to come home with us.  Clayton and Asia had a special bond since Clayton's siblings were grown up and married it was like his little sister.

Thanks for hopping by! Now it's on to Alison's blog.  I'm sure she has an awesome project to share.

Just Read Layout

Hello friends! Today I am sharing somewhat of a mixed media layout over at A Flair For Buttons.

Every once in a while I like to mix it up and play with my inks, sprays, and stamps.  I adore this photo of my son when he was reading out loud to his nana.  It was a special moment for him.  This is when he was 6 years old and now he is 16.

I used two flair buttons on this layout.  I try to think outside the box and use different flair buttons than what they are really intended for.
