Hello friends! Happy Monday! Usually I don't get excited about Mondays, but today is starting off with a bang.  I just received word that I made the 2016 Paper House Productions Design Team!

Some Exciting News

Hello friends! Happy New Year! I wanted to begin my first blog post for 2016 with some exciting news.  I am excited to be designing at Just Nick Digital Cut Files for a second term.  I am so humbled to be designing alongside such a talented group of ladies.  These ladies are my scrappy idols and I am pinching myself.

If you are a blog follower, you probably have noticed that I love creating projects with cut files and using my Silhouette Cameo.  Looking forward to working with Nicole Nowosad's designs again this term.

It's going to be a great year on this creative journey.  I can't wait to see where it goes.

Creative Embellishments October Challenge

Happy Wednesday!  Today I am excited to share my first design team project for Creative Embellishments with all of you.  For the October Challenge, the design team was asked to create a project and the twist was "distress".  I was inspired by the photo below to create a Fall layout and I used several distress inks to create my layout.

I just love all the fall themed chipboard and used four different sets of chipboard for this layout.  I used Wheat Set No. 2, The Twig Frame With Fall Leaves, The title from The Autumn Leaves Set,  and The Autumn Leaves (Set Of 6).

I also used several distress inks, paints and stains on my background and stamping as well as the leaves, frame and title.

The Cut Shoppe And Creative Scrappers Team Up Layout And Sketch

Happy Sunday everyone! Today the design team members from Creative Scrappers and The Cut Shoppe are teaming up and creating with the Creative Scrappers Sketch #276.

It has been a very long time since I have created a baby layout but the photo spoke to me of my eldest son holding my youngest son, his baby brother. They are 15 years apart in age. I had the perfect papers from the Webster's Pages Hello World Collection by Alison Kreft Designs.  I especially love the soft colors, the little onesies, the hot air balloons and the cute foxes in this collection.

I'm A Design Team Member At The Cut Shoppe!

Somebody please pinch me. Today I wanted to share some very exciting news that I have been bursting to share.  I have been asked to join the very first design team at The Cut Shoppe!

The Cut Shoppe is an online store that sells digital cutting files in SVG and PNG format for electronic die cutting machines.  The very talented Ashley Horton owns the Etsy shop and she designs all the digital files.

Being an owner of a Silhouette Cameo, I will be creating layouts and cards with Ashley's designs for the next four months. This is going to be a wonderful adventure and I am really excited about working with such a talented group of ladies.  Here are the ladies on the design team...

New Design Team And New Design Team Member!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a fantastic day so far.

Today I wanted to share some exciting news.  I was asked to join a new design team at Three Or More!

It would be great if you could follow this new scrapbooking challenge blog. There will be challenges and prizes every month and I really hope you join me on this new journey.  The challenge every month is to use at least three (3) photos on a layout and there is also an additional challenge to make it even more fun and interesting. Scrapbookers always have lots of photos and this is a great opportunity to create layouts with three or more photos.
