Love, Love, Love, All You Need Is Love

Hello friends! Today I am on the Just Nick Digital Cut Files blog sharing a love themed layout of my oldest son and daughter in law on their trip to Europe.  These lovebirds have done a lot of travelling in their 7 years of marriage.
For the background, I began with a 12X12 piece of white card stock and used the Mini Numbers Collage  6X6 Stencil by The Crafter's Workshop and added some modelling paste and let dry.  Then I used the Cubist 6X6 Stencil, also from The Crafter's Workshop and some Worn Lipstick Ranger Distress Ink.
I love working with vellum and I had some Doodlebug Designs embossed red heart vellum in my stash that I thought would work perfectly for this layout  and of course some Just Nick Digital Cut Files.  I cut out the HeartsInfinity Hearts Frames and Lots of Love cut files on my Silhouette Cameo.  The vellum cuts like butter on blade depth 3 on the Silhouette Cameo.
To adhere the vellum, I machine stitched the cut designs in place so there was no adhesive showing through onto the right side.  I added some sequins, some red twine bows and a flair button from A Flair For Buttons to complete the embellishing.
I hope you are inspired to use vellum on your projects.  Check out all the designs, including the designs I used on this layout in the Just Nick shop here.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy creating!

Cute As A Button

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing another layout for Just Nick Digital Cut Files using the Bitty Buttons Cut File, the Handcut Letters Cut File and the word "cherish" from the Gratitude Cut File.  I thought it was perfect for the title of the layout because this little guy is as cute as a button.  My daughter saw this kid when it was only 20 minutes old.  He was named Rudy.

I cut out paper buttons, the Bitty Buttons Cut File with my Cameo. I also used the Handcut Letters to create the title "As Cute As A Button" and repeated the title to fill the entire page.  I then cut it out on white card stock, flipped over the card stock and backed it with some brown paper.  I also cut out the word "cherish" from the Gratitude Cut File Set.

Fall Days Layout For The Cut Shoppe

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today I am up at The Cut Shoppe and now that it is the beginning of Fall, I thought I would create a Fall layout of this handsome little cutie who is my daughter's nephew.

I used the Free Falling Cut Files to create the title of my layout, the leaves and the trees behind the journaling tag.  I love all the texture these cut files give the layout.  I also used some stickers and patterned paper from the Indian Summer Collection by We R Memory Keepers and flair from A Flair For Buttons.  To add a little more depth to the background paper, I used several stencils and some distress inks to give more interest.  Below are a few closeups…

Here is the cut file I used from The Cut Shoppe

I hope you are inspired with my Fall layout.  Thanks for stopping by and check out all the amazing digital cut files in The Cut Shoppe here.
