Choose Happy Layout

Hello followers and friends! Today I am sharing a second layout that I created with the pretty April Creative Kit at My Creative Scrapbook.

For this layout I added ribbon, stickers, journal cards and ephemera from this kit.

Smile Layout

Hello friends! I know it's Monday, but the sun is shining so it's all good.  Just thought I would share another layout with the March Main kit at My Creative Scrapbook.  I simply LOVE the rose pink, the cream, aqua and green colors to this beautiful collection from My Mind's Eye.

For this selfie layout, I added a white cardstock background and chose the green scalloped paper and machine stitched around the scalllops very carefully as well as the photo mat.  I love the homespun feel it gives the layout.

I added some journal cards, chipboard pieces, stickers, ribbon, a fabric brad, which I absolutely love, and some mini silk roses tucked into the lace bow.

Well there you have it. My third layout with the March Main kit at My Creative Scrapbook.  Here are all the kits that are available to purchase.  The top left photo below is the March Main Kit, the top right photo is the March Creative kit.  The bottom left is the March LE kit and the bottom right is the March Album kit.

For my layout I created a selfie layout of my health journey so far.  I used the Selfie word in The Cut Shoppe as well as the Going In Circles Cut Files. 

For the patterned papers and stickers, I used the Scattered Sprinkles Collection by Bella Blvd as well as a scalloped punch and some sequins.  Here are some more closeups

My First Publication In Scrapbook Generation's Create Magazine!

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Today I am very honoured and excited to share that I have a layout published in Create Magazine!  This is a new free monthly digital paper crafting magazine that began publishing in January 2014.  My layout in the June 2014 issue is on page 212.  Check out this jam packed magazine that focuses on sketches but has so much more.  It's their biggest issue yet.  Check it all out here.

I love everything about Fancy Pants Designs and this layout was created from the As You Wish Collection.  I cut out the title on the gold foil paper with my Silhouette Cameo and also the gold tag behind the photo and the little gold hearts.  The flowers are fussy cut and I also cut strips of patterned paper from the collection and added some sewing mating stitching to the strips.  The photos were created with Turbo Collage, which is photo collage software, and the coloured text was added with the software as well.  This is the first layout that I have published in this particular magazine.
