March Kit Reveal Day At My Creative Scrapbook And My Guest Designer Introduction

Hello friends!  Today I am so excited to share my layouts that I created  as the guest designer for March at My Creative Scrapbook.  These layouts are all from the March Creative Kit.  I love the fun, bright colors of this collection.  The papers and die cuts are from the Hip Hip Hooray Collection by We R Memory Keepers.  This is a great kit for birthdays but as you can see I also used it for a summer layout and a general layout.

Looking forward to being a guest designer again for April and also joining the My Creative Scrapbook Sketch Team in April as well!  Be sure to check out what the entire team created with all the kits for March here.  Also, play along with our sketches at My Creative Sketches.

I hope you enjoyed your visit and don't forget to order your kits right away as they go fast!

Practical Scrappers Thanksgiving Card

Hello!  Can you believe it's the month of November?  Today at Practical Scrappers there is a reveal of the November 1 Card Sketch, created by design team member Patty Selah.

November 1 Card Sketch

The design team was asked to create a card with a Thanksgiving theme so I happily took out some seasonal papers from the We R Memories "Country Livin" Collection and created this simple card.

I cut some ribbon that was maple leaves and applied some Beacon 3-In-1 Glue and adhered some sequins to the maple leaves.  I then found a wood button and tied a bow with twine and misted a wood leaf embellishment with October Afternoon Sprinklers (Rotary Phone) to make it a green shade.  Next, I added my title in some woodgrain mini letter stickers by October Afternoon.  Voila!  A simple Thanksgiving card!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out what some of the other design team members at Practical Scrappers created with the card sketch here.

Practical Scrappers August Sketch

Hello scrappy friends!  Today I have an awesome sketch to share with you created by Liz Chidester for  the August Sketch at Practical Scrappers.  I love sketches and this one was perfect for scrapping that special photo of my parents for their 55th wedding anniversary.  Wow!  What a milestone!  I chose some papers and some die cuts  from the new We R Memories Country Livin' Collection and also some stamps, mist, sequins, and tons of different embellishments to finish the layout.  Here are a few photos:

Here is the lovely sketch:
