My First Project For Stuck?! Sketches Creative Team!

Happy Friday!  I am so excited to be on this creative team where there are two sketches a month to play along with and enter for two prizes a month.  Today is my first layout with the team using the November 1 sketch that the amazingly talented (and sweet) Laura Whitaker created.

Stuck?! Sketches November 1 Sketch
I created a halloween layout of some cutie patooties that I personally know.  They always make me smile and their mommy is a fabulous mamarazzi (mommy photographer).  All the photos are courtesy of Stephanie Kuzio of Rockwood Photography.

I used different colours for this halloween layout than what is typically the norm for Halloween (black, purple, green, orange) so that the photos wouldn't clash. I  chose the colours grey, black, white and red to compliment the photos and make them pop.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the spiders and spider web die cuts and then added some red pearls to make the eyes on the spiders. I used several texture stamps and inked them with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in  Black Soot and Barn Door.  The patterned papers are from Bella Blvd.'s Trick Or Treat Collection.  I also used a Crafter's Workshop chevron stencil and some Black Soot ink and also my Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mists in Tinsel and Black to make some splatters for more interest.

Linnie Blooms is offering a brand new Layout Kit as a prize for one lucky winner this month! So it's your turn to play along for an awesome prize!

Please link up your entries over in the sidebar by November 29th at Midnight to be in the running for this prize!   All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick a number.  When linking your entries, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole as it can be hard later in the month to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery including Facebook and Flickr.

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with no more than one other non-sketch challenge, such as a colour challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out what the entire team created with this sketch at Stuck?! Sketches here.  Whew this was a long post but thanks for staying with me.  Have a wonderful Friday!
