My Paper House Favorite Products Feature

Hello friends! It's Lee-Anne here today with another layout that I have created for Paper House Productions.

For the next two weeks the designers are sharing their favorite products feature and for me personally, I absolutely love the Autumn Woods Collection.  Such a gorgeous collection with beautiful autumn colors.  I knew that I wanted to scrap my new puppy Syd.

Let's Escape To The Woods Layout Supply List
I began the layout by adding distress inks onto the white cardstock background by pouncing the ink pads onto a splat mat and adding some water to each distress ink color with a water pen.  Place your white cardstock onto the inked and watered splat mat and smoosh around.  Let dry.

I fussy cut the "Let's Escape To The Woods" and all the leaves and added them to the dry inked background with some foam dimensional squares to add some layering and dimension.

I also added some paper strips to the bottom of the layout and also a floral border sticker and then added my journaling with the black pen.

Puffy stickers simply add even more dimension and interest so I added a fox,  flower, leaf,  arrow, branch and "explore" puffy stickers.

I really love the rich autumn colors from this collection from Paper House Productions.  Be sure and check out the Autumn Woods Collection and all the other gorgeous products at Paper House Productions.

Thanks for visiting!

My Creative Scrapbook September Tutorial

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a good day.  It's Lee-Anne here and today I wanted to share another step by step tutorial of the layout below that I created from the My Creative Scrapbook September 2016 Creative Kit.

My Creative Scrapbook September 2016 Creative Kit
I  enjoyed creating with this fun kit.  It had plenty of papers and embellishments from the new American Crafts Shimelle Starshine Collection.

Here we go:

Begin with a 12X12 inch piece of white of card stock.  This will be used for the background to build the layout on.

Cut the blue star paper 7 1/2 inches long by 6 inches wide and adhere to the white cardstock background.

Cut the blue diagonal striped paper 8 1/2 inches long by 7 3/4 inches wide and adhere to the blue star paper leaving about a half inch of the blue star paper above and to the left of the blue diagonal stripe paper.  Adhere.

Cut the six squares of patterned paper from the paper sheet that has rectangle and square patterned papers and adhere to the blue diagonal stripe paper as shown below.  Add the strip of scalloped striped paper and adhere as shown below.

Add the yellow stripe chipboard frame and place it over the patterned paper squares as shown below.  Add the "adventure is waiting" chipboard square inside of the yellow stripe chipboard frame. Adhere.

Mat a 3 X 4 photo with the yellow paper and adhere to the right of the yellow stripe chipboard frame.

Add the balloon flair button to the bottom right corner of the photo as shown below.

Adhere the green "brilliant" chipboard die cut to the bottom of the photo.  Be sure to center it before sticking it down onto the photo.

Adhere the pink tab to the right of the photo and also the "blue love" chipboard banner and grey heart button as shown.

Fussy cut the "the sky's the limit" paper and adhere below the navy polka dot square patterned paper as shown.  Adhere the yellow button to the left of the paper.

Add the star flower flair button to on top of the yellow stripe chipboard frame and adhere.

Add the "make a wish" chipboard above the star paper. Adhere the turquoise button to the left of the chipboard.

Add the chipboard "go with all your heart" arrow to the bottom of the striped yellow chipboard frame directing the eye to the photo.

Add the three small chipboard stars to the top right side of the layout as shown on the layout.

Adhere the small chipboard star circle and the white foam alphas as shown on the layout.

Add the "dream" diecut to the left of the title "big".  Adhere the pink chipboard "dreams come true" piece above the "dream" diecut.

To complete the layout, I added the year on the pink tab to the right of the photo with a black fine pen, and also typed out my journaling on a white piece of card stock and adhered it to the blue diagonal striped paper.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.  This layout of my daughter was inspired by the September Sketch at My Creative Sketches, which is the sketch site for My Creative Scrapbook.   If you play along with the sketch and link up your layout at My Creative Sketches, you have a chance to win a fabulous prize.  The deadline is October 14 (EST midnight) to link up and the random draw for the winner will be announced October 15.

Have fun!

ABC Layout

Hello friends! Today I am sharing a school themed layout at Just Nick
Digital Cut Files using the Online Alpha cut file on the white card stock background.

I decided that I would use my Silhouette sketch pens for my layout so I took the Silhouette Cameo blade out and replaced it with a black sketch pen and let the Silhouette Cameo draw the design onto the white card stock.

Once it was drawn, I wanted to add some color to the alphabet so I inked the letters with different colors of Ranger Distress Ink (Faded Denim, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, Citron, and Barn Door).  I embellished the outside edges of the layout with cute crayon puffy stickers from Paper House Productions.

I used the Outline Alpha Cut File for my layout.

I love using my sketch pens.  Be sure and check out all the designs at Just Nick Digital Cut Files.  Thanks for stopping by.

Wizard Of Oz Layout

Hello friends! Today I am on the Paper House Productions blog sharing this Wizard Of Oz Layout using some papers and stickers from the Wizard Of Oz Collection.

Supply List
I wanted to add some texture and interest to the layout so I cut 12 X 1 inch strips of the Wizard Of Oz Poppies Paper and used a pair of fringe scissors to add fringe to the strips and adhered them to a 12X12 piece of white card stock starting at the bottom and working upwards.  I had a bare space on the top so I added border strips to the top.

Next I added some gold stickers to the layout that are included in the Wizard Of Oz Watercolors Paper Crafting Kit.

Finally, I added card stock stickers to the layout and gave the Wizard Of Oz characters some dimension by popping them up with some foam squares and adhering them to the fringe background.

There you have it.  A fringe layout.  I hope you are inspired to try this technique with the gorgeous Wizard Of Oz Collection and check out all the beautiful products at Paper House Productions.
Have a lovely day!

Sunshine And Happiness

Hello friends! Today at Just Nick Digital Cut Files, I am sharing this layout of my only daughter and I.  She sparkles and definitely is my sunshine.  I don't get to see her very often as she lives far away , so when she does come to visit, I like to have some fun and take "usies".

For this particular layout, I took the cutting blade out of my Silhouette Cameo and replaced it with a black Silhouette sketch pen and traced the Retro 50's Background design onto white card stock.

Usually I cut out the designs, but I wanted to hand stitch on my layout and boy oh boy did I hand stitch.  It was a labor of love for sure.  I used 5 different colors of DMC embroidery floss.  After the stitching was completed, I added some coordinating sequins here and there on the layout.

I really love all the texture that the hand stitching adds to the layout.

I hope you are inspired to try cut files in a different way such as using sketch pens.  Be sure and check out all the awesome designs at Just Nick Digital Cut Files.

Thanks for stopping by!
