Baby Mini Brag Book

Hello friends! On July 1 I had my first grandchild and to document the memories of the first two weeks I thought it would be appropriate to create a little "brag book".  I have an obsession with mini albums at the moment and wanted to share this little accordion mini that I created with envelopes for Paper House Productions.

This was a lot of fun to make and it has lots of little tags and pockets to journal and add some baby photos.

I created this with patterned papers from the Hello Baby Boy Collection by Paper House Productions. I love the fun, happy colors and the elephants and giraffe are so cute.

This is the back cover of the album. I added some stickers and my grandson's name in mini alpha stickers and added a puffy sticker for dimension.

The foundation of the album is made with five white envelopes measuring approximately 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches. I glued them together and cut a little piece of the top of each envelope to create the pockets.

The photo mats were made with dark blue 110 pound card stock so that they hold up to some wear and tear and don't bend as easily. I added the patterned paper to each card. The photos were printed in the 2X3 size. I added stickers and puffy stickers.

The tags were created with the We R Memory Keepers Tag Punch Board some patterned paper from Paper House Production's Hello Baby Boy Collection as well as some stickers and puffy stickers. I finished the tags with ribbon or baker's twine.

I hope you are inspired to try an envelope mini album.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

Relax And Unwind Envelope Mini Album

Hello friends! Happy Sunday!

I love camping, nature and the outdoors and all of my three grown children love it too so when I saw the beautiful collections from Paper House Productions, I knew that I wanted to create some mini albums for my daughter to add some photos of their camping trips. This album was created with 8X8 inch white envelopes that I created from scratch. It makes a great foundation for the pages.

I added brown 110 pound card stock to the base and also photo mats that I tucked into pockets of the pages and added patterned papers and stickers from Paper House Productions The Great Outdoors Camping, Hunting, and Fishing Collections. I love these collections and the 3-D stickers just finish off the album nicely with a little pizzazz and dimension.

Mini albums are a great way to use paper collections and stickers and to add lots of photos. Paper House Productions fits the bill.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

Fresh Flowers

Hello friends! If you are looking for the blog hop, please click here.

Today I am sharing my final and sixth layout using the September Creative Kit at My Creative Scrapbook.

For this layout, I added square scraps of patterned paper that I had left over from the kit and layered them on a white cardstock background.

I placed the photo on the right and added some stickers to the left of the photo.

For my title I added the word "Fresh" from the Heidi Swapp Gold Acetate Words and "Flowers" from the woodgrain chipboard included in the kit.

This was a fun, simple layout to create and it's a great way to use lots of papers and create layers.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the September kits at My Creative Scrapbook. September is FREE gift month and with every September kit purchased there will be a free gift included in the kits.

Also, there is a blog hop taking place right now with My Creative Scrapbook and Stuck?! Sketches. You can hop along here for a chance to win a beautiful September Main Kit and a gift certificate from Creative Embellishments.

Summer Fun Layout

Happy Thursday! It's in the middle of summer here and it's been very hot so far this summer, but I am not complaining as the winters here are so long. Today I thought I would share another summer layout that I created with the gorgeous July Creative Kit at My Creative Scrapbook.

Scrapbooking to me should be fun and for this layout, I wanted to create some movement on the layout and make it more playful.

I grabbed one of my dinner plates to use as a circle template and the border strip paper from the kit and traced out a circle with a pencil and then cut the paper strips apart.  I added some to the bottom left corner of the layout and the top right corner of the layout and machine stitched them down onto the white cardstock background.

I matted the photos onto the yellow and white polka dot paper

and added the chipboard yellow swimsuit and the "summer memories" sticker and "arrow" sticker in between the two photos to separate the photos and to draw the eye to the clustered title to the right of the photos.

From the ephemera pack in the July Creative Kit, I added the sun circle and layered it with the "summer" and "fun" chipboard pieces to complete the clustered embellishment title. I added a swimsuit chipboard piece to the right of the title.

The cute chipboard frames were combined and I clustered the "flamingo" chipboard piece to the right of the chipboard frames and added the "soak up the sun" chipboard piece to the bottom of the frames. I love to cluster embellishments and give the title more of a wow factor.

Finally, I sprinkled some tiny round ephemera pieces and round chipboard embellishments around the layout.

As you can see, I wanted to draw the eye from the bottom left corner of the layout upwards to the photos and then over to the top right hand corner of the page and then downwards to the title.

Feast your eyes on the beautiful July Creative Kit.

It is full of gorgeous papers, ephemera, stickers and chipboard stickers from the new Echo Park Summer Dreams line. I love the colors to this line. They are so bright and happy.

Be sure and check out all the beautifully designed kits that My Creative Scrapbook puts together each and every month. There will surely be a kit that is perfect for you and your particular paper crafting style as they are all so different and jam packed with the latest and greatest papers and embellishments in the paper crafting industry.

Enjoy your day!

Where The Wild Things Are Pocket Mini Album

Hello friends! Once in a while I like to try new things in this crazy fun scrapbooking world so today I thought I would share a pocket mini album that I created for design team work at Paper House Productions.  I used this cut file in the Silhouette Online store that was created by Lori Whitlock. I cut out the mini album on Silhouette Chipboard with my Silhouette Cameo and once it was assembled, I added the beautiful papers and stickers from Paper House Productions Where The Wild Things Are Papercrafting kit.

I had so much fun creating this album.  A friend of mine has the cutest boy and girl and when I saw the Where The Wild Things Are Paper Crafting Kit from Paper House Productions, I knew I wanted to document their Halloween from this year and last year.

I have a little video that I created to show the completed album.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  I hope you enjoyed my video and check out the Paper House Productions shop and blog.
