Stuck?! Sketches May 1 Sketch Reveal

Happy first day of May!  Today is the May 1 Sketch Reveal over at Stuck?! Sketches and my hubby is going to be celebrating his 50th birthday this month and to celebrate, he got a new car.  No this isn't a mid life crisis.  He truly is a car lover and especially loves Camaros and this is his sixth Camaro that he has owned.  He is happy to have a convertible and I am looking so forward to lots of drives this spring and summer.

I tried to add lots of grunge and texture to this layout by adding burlap, a stencil, and some chipboard and wanted to give it an ultra masculine feel.  Here is the wonderful sketch that I used created by Laura Whitaker.  I flipped the sketch.

Thanks for dropping by. To see the full design team reveal and to upload your take on the sketch for a fabulous prize, check it all out here.

Stuck?! Sketches April 1 Sketch

Happy April Fool's Day!  Today there is a new sketch to play with at Stuck?! Sketches.

I really had fun with this sketch and created a layout of my son and husband.

I really enjoyed making a grungy, masculine layout with some really great papers from the Garage Days Collection from Kaisercraft.

I added some Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Weathered Wood to a stamp and also made some splats with some Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Rusty Hinge.

Have fun with the sketch and play along and upload to Stuck?! Sketches for a chance to win a great prize.  Also, check out what the team created with the sketch.  Have a great day!

Dad Layout

Hello friends!  Happy Wednesday!  Today is Wild Wednesday at Scrapbooker's Paradise with a  masculine layout of my dad.

This collection from Kaisercraft called the Garage Days Collection was a perfect match for my dad because in his working days he owned a tire shop and when I saw this collection, I had to scrap a layout with it.

I used lots of goodies on this layout and they all can be found in the Scrapbooker's Paradise Online Store here so please head on over and happy shopping!

Have a wonderful day!
