Stuck?! Sketches May 15 Sketch And Reveal

Hello everyone!  Today is reveal day for another sketch over at Stuck?! Sketches and for this layout I wanted to create a masculine layout  and I was going for a grungy look with lots of texture.

The patterned papers are from the Carta Bella's Rough And Tumble Collection.  I also used some acrylic paint, stamps, mists and inks.  For the title and also the zipper and fiber die cuts I used my Silhouette Cameo.

Here is the amazing sketch by Laura Whitaker.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the entire design team created and upload your take on the sketch here for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Creative Embellishments by May 29.

Mixed Media Layout - Celebrating Spring

Hello everyone!  Thanks for popping by.

Today, I was inspired by two very talented ladies that I admire so much.  Kelly Klapstein and Bente Fagerberg always create such beautiful scrapbook pages and I wanted to create a mixed media layout with paints, stamps, sprays, modeling paste, stencils, stamps and masks.

I photographed this photo a few weeks ago in my front yard.  There were 5 robins sitting in my tree and I was so happy to see these innocent little creatures.  Spring is my favorite time of year indeed!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!
