For my layout I applied gesso and modelling paste for texture and also wanted to use the colours gold and black on my layout and keep it rather soft and muted.
I added it to a shadow box frame and will hang it in my front hallway all winter. It is difficult to get a good photo of it in the frame because of the glare but hope you get the idea. I am happy with the vintage look of this project. It was exactly the look that I was going for.
