Scrap Lifting Challenge

Hello scrappy friends!  I hope you have a wonderful Easter!  Today I wanted to share a layout I created for The Scrap Lifting Challenge.  I have always been a fan of Christin Gronslett's style and thought I would play along with the challenge and scrap lift her layout.

I chose these photos of my cat Sheldon who is quite the character.  The middle photo I captured in "mid yawn" and I thought it looked like he was laughing.  I used papers from the new collection Be Different by Fancy Pants Designs.

Here are some more closeups of my layout

Thanks for stopping in and have a great Easter!

Cowboy/Cowgirl Boot Card

Hello friends!  Today I wanted to share a quick card that I made for my niece that is twelve years old today.  She is quite the cowgirl and I thought this card was perfect for her.

It came together quickly as I created it from a file of Lori Whitlock's in the Silhouette Online Store and cut it out on my Cameo.  The papers and stickers are from the Collecting Moments Collection from Fancy Pants Designs.  I'm pretty sure I have all their collections.  I love Fancy Pants!

Thanlks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits Layout #4

Hi scrappy friends!  Today is the last layout guest designing for Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits and I wanted to thank Boys Rule for asking me to design with their amazing January/February kit.  It has been so much fun!

Here is my last layout:

This layout was created completely from the January/February kit and I loved creating this winter layout of these cute kiddos.  The photos are courtesy of Rockwood Photography and the sketch is by Kristine Davidson for Creative Scrappers Sketch #259.

Guest Designer Layout For Graffiti Stencil Art.

Hello scrappy friends.  Recently, I was asked by the awesome ladies at Graffiti Stencil Art to create a project using their awesome stencils.  I was very honored and got busy creating a layout of a family trip to the mountains.

Graffiti Stencil Art, which is a Canadian company, sells stencils to use for all art projects such as layouts, cards, smash books, art journals or any mixed media project and they ship everywhere!  Below is my layout  I used the Mini Star Stencil and my trusted Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mists in Mint Green and Mustard Yellow.

Mists - Heidi Swapp
Patterned Papers - Fancy Pants (Park Bench)

I hope you are inspired to create with Graffiti Stencil Art.  You can find the online store here.

Practical Scrappers Ten Things Team - Mists

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you have some time to be creative this week.  Today the Practical Scrappers Ten Things Team are sharing different ideas to use mists and sprays on your projects.  I have every colour of the Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mists and love their gorgeous colours and shimmer.

Cardstock - DCWV
Corrugated Paper - Fancy Pants
Mists - Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mists (Mustard, Teal)
Patterned Paper - Fancy Pants
Stencil - Graffiti Stencil Art
Title - Silhouette Cameo

For my layout, I created the title by covering the bottom half of the die cut title with a piece of paper and misting with the Mustard Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mist, letting it dry,  remove, and then covering the top half with a piece of paper and misting it with the Teal Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mist, letting it dry and remove.

I used the Fancy Pants Park Bench Collecton for the papers and stickers, my Silhouette Cameo to die cut the title and a star stencil from Graffiti Stencil Art.

Thanks so much for visiting and check out what the ladies at Practical Scrappers came up to give you many more ideas to use your mists.

Now it's your turn to give it a try!  Have a great day!
