My New Silhouette Cameo!

Silhouette Cameo

If you are an avid scrapbooker like myself, you enjoy learning new techniques and also love spicing up your pages.

Two months ago, I decided to make the plunge and purchase a Silhouette Cameo.  For those of you who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, it is an electronic diecutting machine that you can make intricate cuts on cardstock, patterned scrapbook paper, vinyl, transparencies and it also cuts out and prints special digital files.  Another nice thing about the Silhouette Cameo is that there are several online websites that sell digital designs that can be cut with the Cameo.  I also like that I can use my Mac with this fabulous machine.  Designs can be purchased through the Silhouette Online Store as well as other website. They average about 99 cents a design and the files are yours forever!  I love that there are always new designs being added and Tuesdays there is always a free design to add to your collection.  There are Pinterest boards and new online classes to be inspired by and I really don't think it is a fad, I think it is here to stay!

It is changing the entire way I scrapbook.  I really don't need to buy paper punches, stencils, masks, flowers or even greeting cards for that matter! Greeting cards are very expensive to buy now so I am going to try and make mine.  I think I will definitely get my money's worth out of this machine and wish I would have had one when my children were planning their weddings.

There is a lot to learn and it is very user friendly.  Two months ago I purchased mine online through Scrapbook Steals.  They have two daily specials and the deal was too good to pass up as they were adding a nice tote to carry it to crops, three mats and two $10 cards to use to upload designs.  All I can say is WOW!  It is the best purchase I have ever made and I am also impressed with the telephone support at Silhouette.  They have always been efficient and able to help me out.

If you get a chance to try one, go for it!  I think you will be very impressed.  Thanks for stopping by!
