Paper House Productions Fall/Halloween Blog Hop

Hello Paper House fans! Are you enjoying the Fall/Halloween Blog Hop so far? Today is the second day of the blog hop at Paper House Productions and I am sharing a scary Halloween layout with some of the papers from the Fright Night Collection, some Spooktacular 3D Stickers, Scary Sculpted Stickers and Happy Hauntings Cardstock Stickers.

Chills & Thrills Supplies

This was a fun layout to put together.  My neighbours always create an awesome Halloween display for the frightful night.  My dog actually growled when we walked by their home. LOL.

For my layout I began with the Book Of Spells paper for my background and then added the large die cut web, which is a cut file from Just Nick Digital Cut Files that I cut out on black card stock with my Silhouette Cameo.

I matted my photo with various papers from the Fright Night Collection and then added several 3D stickers from the Spooktacular 3D Stickers and some cardstock stickers from the Happy Hauntings Cardstock Stickers.  Finally, I added the title "Chills & Thrills" from the Scary Sculpted Stickers.

Scary right? I hope you enjoyed my project.  Don't forget to comment on my blog and then be sure to check out Angel's blog to see what she created and comment there and then go to the Paper House Productions blog.

Here is what you need to do to be entered to win the entire Fright Night Collection and two Shimmers Lighted Embellishments:

Now it's time to head on over to the talented Angel's blog for more inspiration. Have a happy day!

June is all about weddings so I created a layout of my daughter in law Lori and my daughter's girlfriend who were bridesmaids in my daughter's wedding.  Aren't they gorgeous girls?

I used the Just Nick Floral Background cut file and cut it out on black cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo and backed it with some pink paper from the June kit.

I also cut out the butterflies from the Just Nick June Icons cut file on some pink polka dot paper and machine stitched acrylic butterfly shapes on top of the paper butterfly shapes.

I also cut out the butterfly shapes below from the June Icons cut file and placed them around the page.

I added flair button and leaf three dimensional foam shape around the title to direct the eye to the title.

On the vellum tag, I added the acrylic word "memories" and adhered it to the tag with some machine stitching.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit.  Now it's time to hop over to the amazingly talent Marcia and see what she has created with the cut files from Just Nick and the Clique Kit's June La Dolce Vita Kit. I'm sure it will be amazing.

Scrapping Our Stash January 2016 Blog Hop

Hello friends! So glad you could join me and some of my scrappy friends for the monthly Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop.  Below is a list and links to all the ladies participating in the hop. Be sure and visit everyone on the list.  Some will be offering giveaways.  Happy hopping!
For this blog hop we are using our stash of scrapbooking products that came out before the last CHA (Craft And Hobby Association Trade Show).  I thought I would use some of my Bella Blvd. stash of papers (Lucky Starz Collection) and several Bella Blvd. embellishments as well as some flair buttons from A Flair For Buttons.

My son Clayton was two years old when we adopted our cat Asia.  She was also two years old and had been in a no kill shelter.
The poor kitty had been in a cage for 5 months and our family chose her to come home with us.  Clayton and Asia had a special bond since Clayton's siblings were grown up and married it was like his little sister.

Thanks for hopping by! Now it's on to Alison's blog.  I'm sure she has an awesome project to share.

August 2015 Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Hello friends! I'm happy you are here! You should have arrived here from Cathy Harper's blog.

Today it's all about using our stash and I'm sure every paper crafter and scrapbooker has one.  I wanted to share a layout I created using some Bella Blvd. papers from the Summer Squeeze Collection.

For this layout, I used a 3 inch circle paper punch and cut out several circles of patterned papers and then I cut the circles in half and then in half again.  Now you will have four pie shapes for each circle.

I watercolored my background paper and matted my photos.  I arranged the pie shapes in circles with different papers and machine stitched them and added some embellishments such as stickers, bows and enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed your visit.  Next up is Christine's blog.  Here is the blog hop list just in case.  You don't want to miss all the scrappy inspiration.

Thanks for hopping!

Updated Saturday, June 27, 2015 I have had to remove my layout from my blog as it has been picked up for publication! Scrap n Art Magazine will be publishing this in the July issue which will be available July 1.

Today I am sharing somewhat of a mixed media layout.  My background was created on some white card stock with the help of Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistachio and Squeezed Lemonade then I added some splatters of Heidi Swapp Colorshine Mists in Black Velvet and Teal.

I added several embellishments from my stash such as stickers, buttons, wood veneer birdies, flair, brads, bakers twine and a crochet flower.  The patterned paper, stickers and alpha stickers are from Echo Park's Simple Life Collection.

I hope you enjoyed your visit.  You are at the end of the hop.  I hope you are inspired by all the projects.  Thanks for hopping!

Lee-Anne http://lee-annelovethejourney.blogspot.com  YOU ARE HERE

For this month, I created a summer layout using some older papers and stickers from the Echo Park Summer Bliss Collection as well as some flair from A Flair For Buttons and some wood veneers from Creative Embellishments.

For the wood veneer suns from Creative Embellishments, I inked them up with some Tim Holtz's Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink, cut a swirl flower on my Cameo and added a flair button from A Flair For Buttons to the center.  There are some sequins and enamel dots sprinkled here and there and to give it a carefree feel to the page I went with some twine that I stapled in place to accent the card stock background.  I also fussy cut the popsicles and circles.  Nothing fancy but had fun creating it.

Well there you have it!  This is the end of the hop  Weren't there some fantastic projects?  I hope you were inspired to get creative.  Thanks for hopping and have a wonderful weekend!
