Cherish

Hello friends! Happy Sunday! Today I thought I would share another layout that I created with the August Main Kit at My Creative Scrapbook.

I thought it was perfect for scrapping this photo of my daughter's dog Elly.  The kit consists of some beautiful papers, ephemera and flair buttons from the Fancy Pants Life Is Beautiful Collection.

I loved the foam words and hearts in this collection.  I added some paper behind the foam hearts and trimmed around the edge.

As you probably know already, I love flair buttons! Fancy Pants always has some really cute ones to go along with their collections.

Check out all the kits available now at My Creative Scrapbook.

Have a wonderful day!

The Look

Hello friends! Today I am sharing this layout on the A Flair For Buttons blog of my daughter and youngest son.

For my layout, I looked at my flair stash and chose flair that would coordinate with my layout.  I don't always use flair buttons from a particular theme.

I used the black and white chevron flair button from Minimal 1 Flair,  the blue and black star button from the Around The World 1 Flair, and the silver and white flair button from the Silver And Gold Flair.

Snorkle Love

Hello followers!  Today I wanted to share a layout of my oldest son snorkelling.  He loves to travel and when he goes to tropical destinations, he loves to snorkel.
I had fun with the Just Nick Digital Cut Files Bits And Pieces Background cut file and one of my favorite things to do is to back cut files with patterned paper.
I cut out the Bits & Pieces Background on some white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo and backed it with some papers from Fancy Pants Design's new Attwell Collection.  I love the colors and thought it would make a great summer page.
Here are some more closeups of my layout:

Us Together Layout

Hello friends! Happy Tuesday! Today I am moving right along and sharing another layout that I created with the January Main Kit at My Creative Scrapbook.  My family loves to go to the mountains and spend time together.

For this layout I used the stencil and mist that was included in the kit and created a design that reminded me of frost to make the layout look cold and frosty.  The papers, button and ephemera are all from the Happy Place Collection by Fancy Pants Designs.  I love the bright, fresh colors in this kit.

Be sure and check out all the January Kits at My Creative Scrapbook here.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy & Pretty You Layout

Hello friends! I thought I would share a second layout that I created for My Creative Scrapbook of my daughter.

This was created with the January Main Kit that includes lots of Fancy Pants Designs papers and embellishments from the new Happy Place Collection.  I just love the soft colors to this collection and the large alphas that are perfect for big titles.  Buttons are something that I haven't used in a while and it was refreshing.

Thanks for stopping by.  I have two more layouts that I created for My Creative Scrapbook this month that I will share later.

Be sure and check out all the kits at My Creative Scrapbook.

My Third Layout For My Creative Scrapbook August Reveal

Hello friends!  Happy Friday! Today I am excited to share with you my third layout as guest designer for August at My Creative Scrapbook using the lovely August Creative Kit.

August Creative Kit
For my third layout I created more of a traditional layout of my husband and I on our fifteenth wedding anniversary last year. I did some fussy cutting, machine stitching and layering on this layout.  I loved one of the 3X4 cards sentiment so I cut it and made it a title for my layout.

Here are some more closeups:

Here are the other kits for August.  There is one for every scrapbooking style.

My Creative Scrapbook Layout And Sneak Peeks

Hello friends! Happy August! I am excited to share my first layout as a guest designer for August at My Creative Scrapbook.  If you haven't seen their kits you are missing out.  They are fabulous! What is so great about My Creative Scrapbook kits, is that there is a kit for everyone and every style.

I created my projects with the August Creative Kit and I love this kit because it has bright, cheery colors and has lots of the Fancy Pants Summer Sun Collection, which I adore.

Here are some more closeups…

I created the above layout using a paper weaving method (tutorial will follow later this month).  This is a great way to use up pieces of patterned paper.

Here are some more sneak peeks of my layouts that will be revealed on August 5.

To view the sneak peeks from the My Creative Scrapbook Design Team, you can see them on the My Creative Scrapbook blog here.

Be sure to check out the August Reveal on August 5.  Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Just Married Captured Layout

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday! I am happy to share another layout that I created with the Just Nick Fancy Floral Digital Cut File and the word "capture" from the Capture This Digital Cut Files set.  This wedding layout is of my daughter's wedding day.

I cut the Fancy Floral Cut File with my Silhouette Cameo on some paper from the Fancy Pant's Designs Flutter Collection and also the word "captured" on gold foil paper by Fancy Pants.

I hand stitched inside every petal in several coordinating colors of embroidery floss and also about 1/4 inch from the outside edge of the background paper with several colors.

The title is popped up with some dimensional squares on every other letter.  I added some sequins and flair buttons too.

I hope you enjoyed your visit.  You can find the Fancy Floral Digital Cut File and the Capture This Digital Cut File set in the Just Nick Store here.  Thanks for stopping by!

Father's Day Cards

Hello friends! It's Friday! Since Father's Day is a few weeks away, I wanted to share some quick and simple Father's Day cards that I made for my dad and my father-in-law.

I don't make cards very often and it's such a great way to use up paper scraps and save a little money too. I created both of these cards from the Carta Bella Well Played Collection patterned papers with some sequins added in from Fancy Pants Designs. I found a wood title in my stash made my Heidi Swapp so I painted it with some Tim Holtz Barn Door Distress Paint.  I love the dabbers on these paints. It makes painting wood easy peasy.  The label sticker and mini alpha stickers are from Teresa Collins.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous weekend doing something you love.

My Layout Was Featured At Fancy Pants Designs!

Hello friends! Happy Thursday! Just wanted to share some super duper happy news today. My layout was featured on the Fancy Pants Designs Blog today for my layout "Welcome To My Everyday Circus". How cool is that?

Welcome To My Everyday Circus
Every month Fancy Pants Designs has a new sketch to play with.  For this layout I used the Everyday Circus Collection of patterned papers, stickers, buttons and sequins as well as some digital cut files from The Cut Shoppe.  The photos are of my family the day after my daughter's wedding day.  We all were gathered in the lobby of the hotel to say our goodbyes and take some photos before many of us travelled back to our homes.  Congratulations to the winner and all the ladies that were featured!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
